Trance To The Moon is a Dreampop/Psych-Goth/Post-Punk duo hailing from the Cascadian Northwestern U.S.

Formed in 2020 at the height of world wide pandemic and protest, Monet Alarie (OVER) and Ashkelon Sain (Trance To The Sun, Soriah, Devoured By Flowers...) found sanctuary in sonic collaboration; channeling unprecedented uncertainty into music.

The debut collection, entitled "Lavendar Skies", is comprised of the two EPs "Except in Dreams" and "Fire Within Glass". "Except in Dreams" is scheduled for digital release on Bandcamp.com on 7/16/2021. "Fire Within Glass" is scheduled for release on 8/27/2021, simultaneously with the Lavendar Skies 2XEP Compact Disc, which will contain all the titles from both EPs.

The seven song collection showcases Sain's three decade range of compositional expertise, creativity, and musical vigor, while the charmed appearance of Alarie's dreamlike poetics and impassioned vocals propels the instrumentals into a world at once esoteric, existential, and intoxicatingly beautiful. Infusing influence with everything from Scorpions to Cocteau Twins, Trance To The Moon's "Lavendar Skies" achieves a sonic mood that is unhesitantly impassioned, and daringly unique.

TTTS always stood out in my catalogue, it had this mystique surrounding it. Going through the notes, the beautiful album graphics and the journey behind the making of each individual track included in the album has sort of displaced this aura of mystery. Along with the refound appreciation I now have for this beautiful sonic artifact, I can now rest easy knowing that the beautiful group of people behind this album now have this excellent restoration immortalised.
